About Me!
I'm an illustrator and animator currently finishing my BA (Hons) in Illustration with Animation. My work is rooted in printmaking— screen printing, lino, and risograph. I enjoy the hands-on approach of these processes and the textures and happy accidents that come with them. I’ve also experimented with animation, both traditional and digital, and I’m especially interested in risograph animation- I like bringing the tactile element into motion.
My work tends to be colourful and inspired by nature, particularly patterns found in the wild. After diving into feminist art in my dissertation, I’ve been exploring the connection between the body and the earth and themes that connect women’s experiences to nature—ideas of cyclical change and embodiment. Those ideas are starting to weave into my work in interesting ways.
I’m always keen to try new things, collaborate with others, and keep pushing where my practice can go next.
